Associate
Learn alot , worked with alot of good people , the pay was okay for the level
Work life balance was poor
Manager
Great for building a resume
Typical cons of consulting, long hours, political
Senior associate
Great colleagues to learn from
Tight deadlines and not enough staff
Business analyst
- Black & white appraisals/promotion process up to manager level - Summer working hours between June - Aug - Lots of documentation & best practice material to refer to
- Lack of interest from senior leadership with regards to career progression i.e. getting placed on projects that don't align at all to your career objectives just because you're resource is available - Can be unsociable working hours depending on your project
Good way to build a network of people who are happy to help
Making fully chargeable employees redundant left, right and centre due to limited growth - but happy to let senior employees tap away on their amex to their hearts content. No job security and promotion prospects past senior associate are extremely limited.
Audit senior associate
The work environment and the facilities are very good. The firm is relatively people oriented.
The salary packages are not that high for an audit senior as compared to those in the US.
Good opportunities for gaining new skills
long hours affect work life balance
Decent benefits with average in the market
Nothing out of the norm. Leave entitlement is 16 days if i recall correctly
PwC positions itself as one of the best workplaces in the world, and I can confirm that this is accurate. The company offers excellent opportunities for career advancement, competitive remuneration, especially when bonuses are included, and a robust professional network.
Many employees report long working hours, especially during busy seasons, which can affect work-life balance. The work environment can be very demanding and stressful, given the high standards and tight deadlines.
Anonymous employee
- Hires good talents who can take autonomy - Exponential learning - Amazing addition to anyone's resume
- PwC runs in Bangladesh through PwC India's right-to-do-business policy in Bangladesh. This market and its resources will always be a non-priority for PwC India in terms of employee rewards and career growth - Culture mismatch between Indian senior employees and Bangladeshi on-ground employees will always breed conflict and a sense of dissatisfaction - Pay scale differs ENORMOUSLY from one team to another, as each team corresponds to a different practice under a different Partner of PwC India - Poor employee retention rate
