Associate
Good associates. Very close and was happy making friends
Management was quite poor. Lot of office politics too
Learned a lot about what I want in my career and what I didnt want.
Long hours, poor leadership. Lots of turnover.
Senior audit associate
Worked in private audit. People are very supportive. Formed bonds and connections with my teams. Perfect experience to jumpstart accounting career with the amount of content you learn in a short period of time.
Hours are long and deadlines can be stressful. At some point you may become specialized in only a specific area.

PwC provides access to an impressive Global network of finance & accounting professionals and offers top-of-the-line career opportunities from data development to global experiences to reinvest initiatives. It is a firm with a heart, caring for employees with resources for mental & physical well-being, as well as the communities & environment in which PwC operates in. The firm is well-diversified in its service offerings & fairly recession resilient relative to other firms / industries.
That being said, the culture can be quite specific to your group and market. I have worked in a couple of different groups that were vastly different & offered a wide range of flexibility & support. One of which I saw a future in and the other left me burnt out & uninspired, which drove me to ultimately choose to leave the firm.
