Easy work environment, minimal stress. Not very results focused (odd for a sales company). Good work life balance. company is almost empty at 12noon and at 7pm. never been in such a lax recruitment company before. Good looking people. Good talker and good looks seems to be almost like a hiring requirement. (maybe subconciously, its a sales job somehow anyway)
HR is a joke. Highly paid expat who does not know local legislation and cannot add value to the floor except for old connections with high level people. Such a shame for an HR company to have one of the weakest HR teams around. Too relationship centric. Almost like if you are in the clique, you will be well taken care of, and continue to be promoted (especially if you are a support staff since results tend to be more subjective).

Its amazing how the office atmosphere and the team moral is constantly on a high note. I absolute love my new job with Randstad. he academy process is amazing, really helpful academy leader (Josh) who is always willing to help also Lee who is the trainer, hes always there when needed any questions he is more than happy to help. Have settled in perfectly and the manager Chris Sheard who's great and willing to develop you with new ideas of working.
Not much cons, probably not much parking space but that's out the managements control.
Event manager
Randstad placed me at a wonderful company and the position has set me up for career advancement.
I truly enjoy the position I was placed in two years ago. However, being beholden/employed by Randstad is to be encumbered by apathy. I have received zero support from my Randstad POC. In fact, she is very difficult to reach; she never answers her phone or responds to emails. I once asked her for an employment verification letter, and she is so lazy that said tried to lie and thought I would believe that Randstad “does not provide them.” When I reminded her that she works for a company with 30k employees, generates over a billion in revenue, and has a very large HR team and asked for a contact in said HR Department, she was able to quickly produce the letter. She is thoroughly unconcerned with me as long as I continue to generate sales for the company I am placed with and receive glowing reviews. And I have dozens of emails with positive feedback, glowing reviews online from customers, and the company I am placed with consistently praises my performance. Randstad essentially takes $200 of my weekly earnings. (*Not exact figure.) Each annual anniversary of employment, I have requested a standard cost of living wage increase which has been declined. I have not received a pay increase in two years while Manpower employees placed alongside me have received significant wage increases. The team I manage earns a higher wage than I do. When I last asked for an increase, my Randstad POC suggested I supplement my income by assuming a part-time potion serving lunch to students at a local elementary school. She indeed suggested that I moonlight as a lunch-lady whilst aware I hold two advanced degrees from an elite University. Now I am not only beholden to Randstad, I am beholden to the clients I made promises to and cannot leave this position without risking my professional reputation.
