Randstad offer thorough training and they have a very good understanding that in this role knowledge is power. I have felt so welcomed into Randstad and feel like I became part of the family within my first month. Randstad offer a challenging sales environment with great rewards.
Sometimes Randstad management can feel micromanaged which some people don't get along with.
Branch manager
Excellent training, career pathing and opportunity to develop. Randstad Canada also truly does have an open door policy at all levels. Randstad also has many creative ways to recognize top performers (including financially). A work hard, play just as hard approach. Great work life balance, and amazing team work at all levels of the organization. There is amazing tenure here, and the majority of our executive teams started at ground level with Randstad.
Work load is intense, that requires effective multitasking skills as well as comfort in changing priorities quickly, which suits the personality traits of those who do find amazing success at Randstad . You must be somewhat entrepreneurial to be successful here, and comfortable with problemsolving.
Anonymous employee
I have been a part of Randstad for close to two years, and the kind of exposure and opportunities i have gotten have been extremely valuable. This is a place where you learn everyday, face challenges head on and have the empowerment to usher in new thinking and innovation. Along with that, Randstad provides you a wonderful work life balance- as long as you are completing your deliverables, no one will question you. Truly a great brand and a great place to work for!
Need better systems and quicker process time in certain instances
Good further career management plan
Lack of trust and support from management
Talent acquisition recruiter
human oriented, great culture and values, diversity and inclusion
not a lot of career opportunities
Auditor
Good as a part time if you're a student for example.
No big chances of moving to better opportunities.
I started off in the Graduate program at Randstad and my experience for the past 2 years has been quite good and I feel as though I have learnt a lot whilst being here. I've thoroughly enjoyed the work I do on my desk, and have managed to see good success off the back of my client and candidate relationships. I've created strong friendships, and feel like I am valued in my team.
Recruitment comes with its highs and lows, and at times the lows can be frustrating and deflating as they are out of your control.
Marketing & communications manager
Randstad is a buzzing place to work, full mostly of whacky sales types who really know how to work hard and play hard. Its a place where the Sky's the limit, at Randstad you really get the feeling that you can be an MD if that's your goal regardless of whether you went to a red brick Uni or not. Its truely international and if you want to work abroad that too is possible.
At Randstad it is full on and that doesn't suite everyone. If you does mind putting in the extra effort to achieve results and high performance then its for you.
