There were no discounts and only allowed to wear their products which is reasonable, but as a seasonal it was difficult

Management are extremely rude not lenient or sympathetic. Shifts and Rotas are poorly organised. Inadequate training Give a lot of criticism Only respect you if you are a senior member of staff Expect you to know everything with very little help Do not praise you or give you any rewards

They don’t give you the chance of progressing within the company and they prefer to hire outsiders instead of the people that already work for them and know how the day-to-day process of the business works.

Should stand all day, it is tired.

Part time hours can be limited during non peak seasons, working holidays, etc. Store associates may not work with a large team, so you might be on the floor by yourself.

I got paid the same even though I got more responsibilities later on

Management poor, very strict on uniform and appearances. If store is quiet there is not much useful to do, could definitely get boring polishing the displays over and over again.

50% off expensive plated metal crystal jewelry and with my pay rate I can't afford it. No medical or dental. Have to wear specific dress code and only Swarovski jewelry. Tough to sell overpriced costume jewelry in a slow retail market. High expectations from corporate. Manager who never works a night shift nor does anything taxing, she sits in office all day. Expected to cultivate phone clientele and send pictures and emails yet company doesn't supply wireless network so we are using our own data and cell phones. Expected to work alone often and close the store alone at night. Need I continue??

Well it’s retail, you will work weekends and holidays.

low pays You never get your bonus because they make the goals so high. They always make the goals so high expect you to of jobs like full timer but you only get pay little bit above the minimum wages. They only promote the one who is closer and friend with the manager and district manager, not by your ability.

You have to be extremely cautious because most of the cases are open, so you have to be alerted all the time.
