Nice balance and work environment.
No cons for this job.
Retail sales associate
Discount. Jewelry sales experience. Learning about the brand and behaviors for luxury sales.
higher ups are hiring their friends so it’s a band of people who used to work together over 15 years ago who are now controlling a section of the company and protecting each other. Manager for my store had a month of training before taking over the store and a month in the store to get situated yet doesn’t know how to do anything and doesn’t want to learn, just wants other employees to do the work for them. doesn’t even know where stock in the store is. badmouths other managers and reveals sensitive information easily. makes inappropriate judgmental comments about potential hires and coworkers. lies compulsive lying. Talks much more than they work. Shopping seems to be their first priority. doesn’t want to take responsibility for anything nor do they show management skills despite having years of experience as a manager. complains about doubles and spoke of leaving for two hours to go shopping and just coming back when they have to close the store. they also have a major problem gossiping to other outside employees about their staff. Used to love working for swarovski but this is the perfect example of needing to choose who you hire and promote carefully. Also swarovski doesn’t like to give raises!
