New manager at Tdsynnex in Tracy is not good at communicating

Execs "servant leadership". Coworkers are collaborative, helpful and genuinely kind. Jerks seem few and far between. Adapted well to remote work. The company fulfills a real need and is not going away soon.
Big, complicated, in the midst of sorting out the SYNNEX/Tech Data merge. TD SYNNEX sells tech products, but distribution margins are thin and salary and benefits are not competitive with tech companies. Pre-merger, TD used Bain & Co. consultants whose first go to for problems was layoffs.
Discovery representative
I have had a very positive experience, I was given an opportunity to contribute at a high level very early. Leadership is very open, it is not uncommon for a discovery rep or other entry level employee to be talking to the head of departments, executives and even the CEO Rich Hume. The people are very friendly, the pay is also pretty good for an entry level program.
Customers can be aggressive but that is commonplace anywhere. If you are not assigned to a team in your city it can very difficult if not impossible to integrate into your team.

The actual manager is really good when it comes to drs appointments and family issues. As long as you work hard and show your work you will have have retention to the company
Many teams will have micro managers ( who’s are not managers) who will monitor all your stats to make them feel good There is a lot of favouritism so people will get away with not working while you might get told off for being late. There are also (high school) clicks within TD so if you are not in them the can feel very secluded and ganged up upon Managers might not know the product as all so you will need to reach out to other members of staff to find out

land in the wrong team your colleagues will be out to protect themselves at any cost as will your management, including positioning lower level folks as a fall guy you can easily end up in a job that is different then you were in last week or month
