The work life balance is ok and I got lucky to join a fun project with nice people. Work remotely. Interesting projects and people. PLR.
Bad news is that good people are leaving, because of lack of salary increase. Also, unfortunately, too much discounts on the paycheck.

Structured Learning Environment: Exposure to Wipro’s frameworks and training resources fosters early-career growth in a systematic way. Diverse Domain Exposure: Opportunity to work across various industries like BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, etc., offering breadth of product knowledge. Global Clientele: Projects often involve international clients, providing insights into cross-cultural product delivery and expectations. Cross-functional Collaboration: Regular interaction with engineering, QA, UX/UI, and client-facing teams boosts communication and leadership skills. Internal Mobility: Possibility to switch domains, roles, or geographies internally once you’ve built credibility. Job Stability & Brand Value: Wipro is a well-known IT services brand with strong financials, offering job security and a recognized name on your resume.
Limited Product Ownership: As a services company, APMs often work on client-driven requirements rather than owning product vision end-to-end. Slower Decision Cycles: Larger organization hierarchy can lead to delays in decision-making or implementing innovative ideas. Lower Compensation Compared to Product Firms: APM salaries may lag behind those in top product-based companies or startups. Process-heavy Environment: Bureaucratic layers and compliance processes might feel restrictive to fast-moving, product-first thinkers. Innovation Limitations: Less scope for building disruptive products; more focus on client customization and incremental improvements. Generic Product Role Titles: The APM title may not reflect true product responsibilities; often blended with BA, PMO, or client delivery tasks.
