Better work life balance can be maintained here as it is encouraged by organization.
Compensation hardly changes post joining the organization.
Senior test engineer
good work-life balance, and opportunities for freshers to learn and grow
Advancement opportunities may be limited, and promotions can take longer than expected.
Technical lead
Lot of opportunities to learn and upskill.
No cons as of now.
Senior software engineer
While you are assigned within a team of professional team members, you will have a great experience and learn a lot. Otherwise, it get very political.
Management view must change to go with clients - atleast at onsite locations. Work culture/work-life-balance must be given priority too!
good working environment and career growth
less salary, less onsite opportunities
Job Security Campus Health Insurance Good Playing areas (indoor - outdoor)
They dont have good project Always tagged you in a support project Higher management is very poor
Senior project manager
- Large resource pool offshore - Great .ppt templates for client proposals and presentations - Great on employee well-being as most employees work from home, apart from when needed by client on site. Additionally, an office location is also available when one needs to go into the office and collaborate.
Company culture - Hierarchical culture stifles creativity or innovation from subordinate employees as they often feel the need to speak to or gain approval from their manager (for what may sometimes be minor tasks having no fundamental impact on their division or the overall company).

Less growth and bad work life balance
Scholar trainee- wilp
Good exposure to corporate work culture and projects while studying. Flexible WILP program helps balance work and academics. Friendly and supportive colleagues/mentors. Opportunity to gain experience in real client projects. Access to Wipro’s internal learning resources and training modules.
Salary/stipend is low compared to full-time roles. Workload can sometimes be challenging alongside studies. Limited career growth until completion of WILP. Some tasks can feel repetitive or non-technical depending on project.
Company infrastructure is good but employment is not well.
It's not a good company for freshers.

1.Employee benefits (WBP scheme) are well-structured. 2.Convenient transport facilities. 3.Good office infrastructure in most locations. 4.Fair leave policy and public holiday calendar. 5.Onsite opportunities are available in select projects. 6.Exposure to large-scale accounts like Mega and Gamma provides decent client-facing experience.
1.Weak management in some locations (Chennai, Bhubaneswar): In my experience, management in these centers lacks transparency and often struggles with employee engagement and planning. 2.Trend Next exam system: Competency exams like Trend Next are tied to performance appraisals and promotions — however, the content is often irrelevant to actual job roles, making it feel more like a checkbox than a value-add. 3.Internal politics: As with most large service companies, navigating workplace politics is often necessary for visibility and career growth. 4.Strict ODC (Offshore Development Center) working hours: The environment can feel restrictive, especially in projects where flexibility is essential for productivity.
Good learning curve , Various oppurtunities
Salary Hike, Senior management (based on the project)
