The usual challenges that come with working for a larger organisation

None that i can think of

100% remote so all stakeholders and suppliers are in Switzerland with a strict no fly policy. (this is why i left as it restricts the ability to do the role IMO) Lack of IT Procurement days in office as all UK based.

Poor engineering management structure and organization. Poor risk reporting structure under their GREW report system. Poor work assignment protocol for field engineers.

There is not much to improve

As a large, established corporation, its decision-making and adaptation processes can be methodical, which may slow down innovation and agility compared to smaller, more niche players

Some teams can slack but some other teams can't.

Working remotely, I had limited chances to interact with the local team but that was part of my own contract set up and down to the flexibility I was afforded.

Nice place to stay. No downside.
