The Account Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting transactions such as invoices, receipts, payments, and bank reconciliations. The role includes maintaining financial records, supporting month-end closing activities, and assisting with tax submissions and audit schedules.
The Account Executive will manage daily accounting transactions including data entry for invoices, receipts, and payments. The role involves preparing sales invoices and payment vouchers, performing bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position supports month-end closing activities, journal entries, financial reporting, and manages Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes. The Account Executive will also maintain proper filing of accounting documents and assist with SST submissions, audit schedules, tax documentation, and ad hoc administrative or finance-related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount).
Knowledge of SST regulations and E-Invoicing is an added advantage.
Meticulous, responsible, and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordination across departments.
Able to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
