Account & Finance Executive – 27 Marketing Sdn Bhd

The Account & Finance Executive at ATHALIA is responsible for managing comprehensive accounting tasks including month-end closing, accounts processing, and financial reporting. This role involves ensuring statutory compliance, overseeing payroll and payments, and supporting multi-country financial operations. The position also contributes to strategic initiatives by providing financial analysis and collaborating with various teams to align financial management with business growth objectives.

The role involves managing the full set of accounts with timely and accurate month-end closing and handling daily accounting tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation, petty cash, invoicing, and payment processing. The person will also oversee inventory costing, sales reconciliation, prepare monthly management reports such as profit and loss statements and cash flow statements, and ensure statutory compliance by liaising with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries. The role includes calculating and submitting monthly payroll, statutory payments, and commission payments, as well as implementing internal control processes for multi-country operations across Malaysia, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Additionally, the position supports strategic and growth initiatives by building financial dashboards and forecasts, providing management with insights on profitability, margins, and ROI of marketing and sales campaigns, supporting expansion projects including new product launches and overseas setup, and collaborating with operations, marketing, and leadership to align financial priorities with brand growth goals.
