Role Summary
The Accounting Executive is responsible for managing the full set of accounts for the organization. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency within the catering and events sector.
Job Description
In this position, you will handle daily accounting tasks, including recording transactions and managing billing processes. You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Record and reconcile daily transactions related to catering orders and event expenses.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.
- Monitor event budgets for cost efficiency.
- Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments on payment and accounting matters.
- Support monthly closing activities and assist in audits.
- Perform ad-hoc finance or administrative duties as required.
Job Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in catering, hospitality, or event industries.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. AutoCount, SQL, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
