The Accounting & Group Reporting Associate is responsible for preparing monthly management financial information and accounts for Maxis Berhad. This role involves analyzing financial reports and supporting statutory reporting requirements in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Job Description
As an Accounting & Group Reporting Associate, you will engage in daily tasks that include preparing financial statements and reports while collaborating with team members. You will also address finance-related queries and assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management financial information and accounts.
- Analyze financial reports to provide insights.
- Support statutory reporting requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end audit schedules.
- Handle finance-related queries from stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with MFRS / IFRS and Bursa requirements.
Job Requirements
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA/MICPA/CPA/ICAA/ICAEW) or Degree in Accounting.
At least 3 - 4 years of relevant work experience in a large audit firm.
Well-versed with MFRS / IFRS and Bursa requirements.
Ability to prepare consolidated financial statements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and preferably SAP.
Positive, passionate, self-starter, and a team player.
Willingness to learn.
