The Advanced Process Control Applications Engineer is responsible for sustaining and improving process control applications across ExxonMobil's global operations. Job Description
The Advanced Process Control Applications Engineer will be part of the Process Control Applications team at the Kuala Lumpur Technology Center. The engineer will engage in day-to-day activities that involve developing, implementing, and maintaining control applications to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement advanced process control applications.
- Optimize unit performance and energy use in various facilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support global operations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot existing control applications.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide technical support to refineries and chemical plants.
- Conduct training sessions for operators on new applications.
Job Requirements
Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in control applications.
Working knowledge of DCS, SCADA, and other control systems.
Familiarity with programming languages and data analytics.
Ability to work both locally and internationally.
