The Assistant Architect is responsible for assisting in the development of architectural designs and plans for property development projects. Job Description
In this position, the Assistant Architect will engage in daily tasks that include preparing drawings, 3D models, and renderings for client presentations. The work environment is collaborative, requiring close interaction with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing architectural designs and plans.
- Prepare drawings, 3D models, and renderings for concept design.
- Collaborate with senior architects and project teams.
- Support design coordination with consultants and contractors.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction compliance.
- Assist in planning applications and technical documentation.
- Research materials and design trends.
- Maintain project documentation and contribute to design meetings.
Job Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Architecture (LAM Part I).
2–3 years of relevant architectural experience, preferably in property development or mixed-use projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Familiarity with BIM is an advantage.
Strong design sensibility and understanding of planning and building codes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
