Role Summary

The Account Officer is responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining the financial health of the organization through effective account management and reporting.

Job Description

In this position, the Account Officer will engage in daily financial operations, including managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as performing bank reconciliations. The work environment is dynamic, requiring attention to detail and timely execution of financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently.
  • Perform data entry for invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts into the IFCA system or SQL Accounting software.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports for management in a timely manner.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and general journals.
  • Ensure accounts are up to date and accurate.
  • Conduct inventory management and banking functions.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.

Job Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, IFCA, and SQL system would be an added advantage.

Working experience in the Property Development or Construction sector would be an added advantage.

Preferably specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
