The Assistant, Linen is responsible for ensuring the quality and cleanliness of linen received from the laundry. Duties include separating linen for rewash, storing and arranging linen systematically, checking the weight of linen, and maintaining records. The role also involves conducting periodic checks on linen condition, assisting with inventory, and ensuring compliance with hospital standards and regulations.
Minimum PMR/ SPM in any relevant field.
Basic knowledge of hospital linen management and laundry processes.
Experience in housekeeping, laundry, or linen services is an advantage.
Ability to organize and manage linen inventory effectively.
Attention to detail in inspecting and sorting linen for quality assurance.
Capability to follow hospital protocols and hygiene standards.
Basic record-keeping and documentation skills for linen tracking.
Good communication skills to coordinate with different hospital departments.
