Role Summary
The Assistant Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure and cloud platforms. This role plays a critical part in supporting digital transformation initiatives and leading modernization efforts across hybrid cloud, security, and automation domains.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day management of IT infrastructure and cloud services, ensuring their reliability and security. You will work in a dynamic environment that fosters innovation and collaboration among teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement enterprise infrastructure solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud platforms for performance and security.
- Lead modernization efforts across hybrid cloud environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure processes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
5–8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and/or cloud management, ideally in a mid-to-large enterprise environment, is required.
Professional certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, CCNA, ITIL, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
Strong knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and cybersecurity is required.
Hands-on experience in AWS administration, Windows/Linux server management, and network/firewall configuration is required.
Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, monitoring tools, and basic scripting or automation is required.
Experience in leading a team is required.
