Role Summary
The Assistant Professor/Lab Manager is responsible for leading and managing daily research operations of the AI Lab. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve research objectives and contribute to the academic environment.
Job Description
In this position, you will oversee the daily activities of the AI Lab, ensuring that research operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the Head of Lab and other academic staff to foster a productive research environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily research operations of the AI Lab.
- Collaborate with the Head of Lab, adjunct advisors, and academic staff to meet annual research KPIs.
- Facilitate the production of high-quality research outputs.
- Coordinate research collaboration across other UNIRAZAK Impact Labs.
- Engage with national and international research communities.
- Deliver high-quality lectures and assessments.
- Provide academic mentoring to students.
Job Requirements
PhD in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology/Information Systems/Data Science.
Strong analytical skills and experience in Research and Development (R&D).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
