The role supports day-to-day sales activities with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships and achieving personal sales goals. It involves collaboration with off-property sales channels, building customer relationships, participating in sales calls, managing sales operations, understanding the market and target customers, and providing exceptional customer service.
Ability to build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers.
Experience or education in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field.
Understanding of market trends and target customer information to maximize revenue.
Ability to support operational aspects of booked business, including proposal generation and contract writing.
Customer service skills that drive customer loyalty and uphold company service standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with sales channels and internal/external stakeholders.
Capable of participating in sales calls and supporting sales team activities.
Basic knowledge of competitors, economic trends, and supply and demand relevant to the market.
Skills to manage and develop relationships within the community and key stakeholders.
Ability to obtain and act on guest feedback regarding product quality and service levels.
