Assistant, Special Diagnostic – KPJ Healthcare

The Assistant, Special Diagnostic is responsible for supporting the Special Diagnostics unit by managing various administrative tasks. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care within the healthcare environment.

As an Assistant in Special Diagnostics, you will engage in daily administrative tasks that are vital for the unit's operations. You will work closely with nursing staff and other departments to ensure that patient needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily administrative tasks to support the unit.
• Update patient records accurately and timely.
• Coordinate patient discharges and transfers.
• Assist nursing staff in addressing patient needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the nurse’s station and surrounding areas.
• Answer patient call bells and communicate with the nurse in charge.
• Collect items from the Pharmacy and Surgical store as required.
• Liaise with all hospital departments to ensure seamless communication.
