Job Description
As an Assistant in the Surgical Ward, you will engage in daily interactions with patients, registering inpatients and outpatients, and ensuring a smooth admission process. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to uphold safety standards and enhance patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Register inpatients and outpatients using the KCIS system.
- Collect sufficient deposits from patients upon admission.
- Process guarantee letters for patient admissions.
- Accompany patients or their relatives to the respective wards.
- Comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
- Participate in the introduction of new services within the ward.
- Ensure adherence to patient safety goals and hospital policies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your superior.
Job Requirements
Relevant diploma or degree in healthcare or related field.
Familiarity with hospital admission processes.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
