Job Description

In this role, the Assistant Unit Manager will oversee daily operations within the Accident & Emergency unit, ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively and efficiently. The manager will work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing staff to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient flow and care delivery.
  • Enforce compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Monitor patient charges and manage unit resources effectively.
  • Engage in health education initiatives for patients and families.
  • Represent the unit manager in departmental meetings and discussions.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in clinical decision-making.

Job Requirements

Registered with the Nursing Board of Malaysia with a valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse

Post Basic qualification in a related field

Preferably with Bachelor of Nursing

Registered Nurse with at least 8 years of clinical experience

Leadership Program certification

Certifications in BLS, ACLS, MTLS, PALS, and NRP
