Role Summary
The Assistant Vice President will oversee the Credit Review team, ensuring compliance and efficiency in reviewing corporate credit proposals. This role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to enhance workflow and productivity within the team.
Job Description
Manage and supervise the Credit Review team, ensuring service standards and turnaround times are consistently met. Review large commercial and corporate credit proposals, providing input and recommendations prior to submission for approval. Conduct special reviews based on identified triggering events or adverse news affecting borrowers, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and guidelines.
Job Requirements
A recognised degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking/Business Studies or equivalent
At least 10 years of experience in processing/review of large commercial and corporate loans
Professional Credit Certification (PCC) qualification is an advantage
Conversant with financial analysis
Able to lead and manage teams with minimum supervision
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
