
The Associate Professor of Accounting is responsible for teaching and learning duties within the academic environment. This role significantly impacts the development of students and the academic program through high-quality instruction and scholarly research activities.
The Associate Professor of Accounting engages in day-to-day teaching responsibilities, including designing course materials, conducting classes, and providing student consultations. The position also involves active participation in curriculum development and scholarly research, contributing to the academic community and maintaining high teaching standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Accounting or related fields.
At least five (5) years of experience in teaching or industry.
Strong publication record with 3-6 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 2 PhD students.
H-index of minimum 5.
Experience in higher education with a track record of teaching and curriculum development.
