The Senior Lecturer - Accounting (AUSMAT) role involves undertaking teaching and teaching-related duties such as designing, preparing, and developing teaching materials; conducting classes, lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions; and consulting with students. The position includes participation in curriculum development, planning and implementing teaching strategies to optimize student learning, and maintaining high teaching and learning standards to meet the college's expectations. Additionally, administrative responsibilities are part of the role, including attending meetings, participating in committees, engaging in professional development, maintaining student performance records, and contributing to academic counselling during promotional events.
Candidate should possess a Bachelor egree egree in
ccounting egree or equivalent from a recognised university. Master's degree and PhD applicants are preferred.
Candidate with experienced teaching in AUSMAT will be an additional advantage.
Experience working in the higher education environment and a track record of teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or good record of professional experience with evidence of coaching and mentoring and high quality of presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including the effective use of IT technologies in the facilitation of teaching and learning.
Able to use software blended in the teaching is preferred.
