
The Associate Professor - Architecture is responsible for undertaking teaching duties and contributing to the development of academic programs. This role significantly impacts student learning and research within the architecture discipline at Taylor's College.
The Associate Professor - Architecture engages in daily teaching activities, including developing materials, conducting classes, and assessing student performance. The position also involves active participation in research and community engagement efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Minimum qualification of PhD in Architecture or Built Environment.
At least five (5) years of relevant teaching or industry experience.
Strong publication record with 3-5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS Q1 or Q2) in the last 5 years.
Experience as a Principal Investigator for research grants worth RM75,000-RM100,000.
Graduated at least 2 PhD students.
Registered with the Board of Architects of Malaysia (LAM) or equivalent.
Green Building (GBI, LEED) certified professional or knowledge of green building certification.
