Job Description
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, while also consulting with students to enhance their learning experience. The position involves collaboration with faculty on curriculum development and participation in scholarly activities to advance the field of clinical psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop teaching materials for courses.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
- Consult with students to support their academic progress.
- Participate in curriculum development and planning.
- Support research projects and postgraduate scholarship.
- Engage in scholarly activities, including research and conference presentations.
- Secure research grants and manage funded projects.
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in committees.
Job Requirements
Possess a Master of Clinical Psychology with 4 years teaching experience.
Hold a PhD from a recognized university in Psychology.
Registered Clinical Psychologist under Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
Strong publication record with at least 7-10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials.
Proven track record of coaching and mentoring students.
Experience working in a higher education environment.
