
The Associate Professor - Clinical Psychology is responsible for teaching and learning duties within the academic environment. This role significantly impacts the development of future psychologists through curriculum design, student engagement, and research contributions.
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions, while also consulting with students to enhance their learning experience. The position involves collaboration with faculty on curriculum development and participation in scholarly activities to advance the field of clinical psychology.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a Master of Clinical Psychology with 4 years teaching experience.
Hold a PhD from a recognized university in Psychology.
Registered Clinical Psychologist under Malaysian Allied Health Professions Council (MAHPC).
Strong publication record with at least 7-10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials.
Proven track record of coaching and mentoring students.
Experience working in a higher education environment.
