Job Description
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting lectures, and consulting with students. The position also involves participation in scholarly activities and administrative responsibilities that support the department's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop teaching materials for cybersecurity courses.
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions for students.
- Consult with students to enhance their learning experience.
- Contribute to programme and curriculum development initiatives.
- Participate in research projects and support postgraduate scholarship.
- Engage in scholarly activities such as conference presentations and journal publications.
- Undertake administrative responsibilities, including attending departmental meetings and participating in committees.
Job Requirements
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity or Computer Science related fields.
Minimum of five (5) years of teaching or industry experience.
Strong publication record with at least 5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM150,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 2 PhD (by Research) students.
Minimum Scopus h-index of 8.
Experience in higher education with a track record of curriculum development.
