
The Associate Professor - Cybersecurity is responsible for teaching and related duties in the field of cybersecurity. This role significantly impacts the academic development of students and contributes to the advancement of research and curriculum in a higher education environment.
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting lectures, and consulting with students. The position also involves participation in scholarly activities and administrative responsibilities that support the department's objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a doctoral degree or equivalent in Cybersecurity or Computer Science related fields.
Minimum of five (5) years of teaching or industry experience.
Strong publication record with at least 5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM150,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 2 PhD (by Research) students.
Minimum Scopus h-index of 8.
Experience in higher education with a track record of curriculum development.
