The Associate Professor in Economics engages in various teaching duties, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting lectures and tutorials, and providing student consultations. The position also involves participating in program and curriculum development, supporting postgraduate research, and maintaining high teaching standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Economics or related fields.
Have at least seven years of experience in teaching or industry.
Possess a strong publication record with at least 7-10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last five years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 cumulatively.
Have graduated at least two PhD students.
Have an H-index of minimum 2.
