
The Associate Professor - Hospitality Analytics / Hotel Revenue Management is responsible for teaching and curriculum development in the field of hospitality. This role significantly impacts student learning and research initiatives within the academic environment.
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching activities, develop course materials, and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes. The position also involves participation in research and scholarly activities, contributing to the academic community.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
Have at least five years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Maintain a strong publication record with at least 3-5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Have secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 (cumulative).
Have graduated at least 2 PhD students.
Hold a minimum h-index of 5.
Have experience working in higher education with a track record in teaching, curriculum development, coaching, mentoring, and presentation skills.
