
The Associate Professor in Hospitality Service Quality, Smart Technologies, and Service Innovation is responsible for teaching, research, and administrative duties within the academic department. This role significantly impacts the academic environment by enhancing curriculum development and fostering high standards of student learning.
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching, research, and administrative tasks, contributing to the academic excellence of the department. The work environment is collaborative, focusing on innovative teaching methodologies and research initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
At least five (5) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Strong publication record with 3-5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Experience in securing research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 2 PhD students.
Minimum h-index of 5.
Experience in higher education with teaching and curriculum development.
