The Associate Professor in Hospitality Service Quality, Smart Technologies, and Service Innovation is responsible for teaching, research, and administrative duties within the academic department. This role includes designing and delivering course materials, engaging in curriculum development, supporting postgraduate research, and maintaining high standards of student learning. Additionally, the position entails participating in scholarly activities such as research, publishing, securing grants, and contributing to external academic linkages and departmental administration.
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
Candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Possess a strong publication record with at least 3-5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
Secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 (cumulative).
Graduated at least 2 PhD students.
Minimum h-index of 5.
Experience working in higher education environment with teaching experience and professional knowledge of curriculum development or evidence of coaching and mentoring and presentation skills.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, including effective use of IT technologies in teaching and learning facilitation.
Experience working on research projects and activities or professional practice/consultancy work with evidence of outputs.
