
The Associate Professor in International Relations is responsible for teaching and related duties. This role significantly impacts the academic environment by contributing to curriculum development and engaging in scholarly activities.
The Associate Professor will engage in day-to-day teaching responsibilities, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting lectures and tutorials, and providing student consultation and assessment. The role also involves supporting postgraduate research projects and participating in various scholarly activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in International Relations or relevant fields.
Have at least five years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Maintain a strong publication record with at least 3-5 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last five years.
Have secured research grant(s) as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000 cumulatively.
Have graduated at least 2 PhD students.
Have a minimum h-index of 5.
Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials.
