
The Associate Professor - Social Work is responsible for delivering high-quality education and fostering academic excellence in the field of social work. This role involves engaging in teaching, research, and community service while contributing to the development of the curriculum and supporting postgraduate research initiatives.
The Associate Professor - Social Work undertakes various teaching and related duties, including designing and developing teaching materials, conducting classes, and consulting with students. The role also encompasses participation in programme and curriculum development, as well as engaging in scholarly activities such as research and community work.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Social Work with prior academic leadership experience.
Member of Malaysian Association of Social Workers.
Familiarity with MQA documentation for Social Work program.
At least five (5) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Strong publication record with at least 7-10 publications in C.I. journals (ISI, SCOPUS) in the last 5 years.
