
The Associate Professor - Tourism Management is responsible for delivering high-quality education and contributing to research initiatives within the field of tourism management. This role involves engaging with students and faculty to enhance learning outcomes and advance academic programs.
The Associate Professor will undertake teaching and related duties, including the design and development of teaching materials, conducting classes, and supporting student research projects. The position also requires participation in program development and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Possess a PhD from a recognised university in Tourism or Hospitality Management.
At least five (5) years of experience in teaching, research, or industry.
Strong publication record with 3-5 publications in C.I. journals in the last 5 years.
Secured research grants as a Principal Investigator worth RM75,000-RM100,000.
Graduated at least 2 PhD students.
Minimum h-index of 5.
Experience in higher education and curriculum development.
