The Associate Security Engineer is responsible for managing support tickets, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining security systems. The role requires coordinating with engineering teams, monitoring support requests, and handling security equipment and software installation and troubleshooting.
The Associate Security Engineer role involves managing ticketing systems, handling customer escalations, conducting impact and risk analysis on change requests, and coordinating with engineering teams to resolve issues. The position also includes monitoring support requests, maintaining firmware and patches, vendor coordination, creating technical documentation, reporting security threats, and installing and troubleshooting security equipment and software.
Minimum 3 years of experience in project deployment and support.
Analytical-thinking and problem-solving experience.
Experience working autonomously and prioritizing work with minimal input.
Time management and multitasking experience.
Strong knowledge of networking and IP concepts.
Hands on Experience with Symantec solutions (DLP, Mail Gateway, Proxy) will be an advantage.
Hands on Experience with IT security solutions like Advanced Persistent Threats, Intrusion Prevention System, Web Proxy, Email Gateway, Privileged Identity Management, Endpoint detection and response, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail oriented and organized.
Ability to work independently with little while maintaining a high level of efficiency.
Flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues.
