Role Summary
The Audiologist is responsible for conducting comprehensive audiology assessments and diagnostic procedures. This role involves working closely with consultants and patients to ensure high-quality audiology services and support the development of junior audiologists.
Job Description
As an Audiologist intern, you will engage in daily audiology assessments and diagnostic procedures in a clinical environment. You will collaborate with consultants and assist in various audiology services, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct audiology assessments and diagnostic procedures.
- Provide newborn hearing screening services.
- Fit and verify hearing aids and assistive devices.
- Perform cochlear implant mapping and rehabilitation support.
- Prepare clinical documentation and test reports.
- Operate and maintain audiology equipment.
- Support consultants during clinic sessions.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Audiology or related field.
Relevant certifications in audiology.
Experience in clinical audiology settings is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
