Role Summary
The Audiologist is responsible for delivering comprehensive audiology services. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, rehabilitating, and counseling patients with hearing and balance disorders in a clinical environment.
Job Description
In this position, the Audiologist will engage in daily clinical activities, executing audiological procedures and maintaining clinical equipment to ensure quality patient care. The role also supports hospital initiatives under the supervision of the Head of Audiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive audiology assessments and diagnoses.
- Execute audiological procedures for patients with hearing disorders.
- Provide rehabilitation and counseling services to patients.
- Maintain and calibrate clinical audiological equipment.
- Support hospital initiatives related to audiology services.
- Ensure compliance with audiology best practices and regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology (recognized by the Ministry of Health)
Minimum 1–3 years of clinical experience in audiology
Understanding of audiological testing and diagnostic procedures
Knowledge of current audiology best practices and guidelines
Experience with audiological equipment and technologies
