Business Data Analyst cum QA Analyst at Cognizant Malaysia - Kuala Lumpur

The Business Data Analyst cum QA Analyst is responsible for bridging business needs with data-driven solutions in the insurance domain. This role involves analyzing various data sets to support strategic decisions and operational improvements while ensuring the integrity of insurance applications and data systems.

In this role, you will engage in day-to-day analysis of claims, underwriting, policy data, and customer behavior, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality. You will also design and execute test strategies to validate business processes and system functionalities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze claims, underwriting, and policy data to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation using tools like Analytics, SQL, and Azure DevOps.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize trends and support decision-making.
• Lead the development of test strategies, test environments, and test data for insurance platforms.
• Oversee integration, system, regression, load, and UAT testing phases.
• Implement quality assurance standards and best practices tailored to insurance applications.
