Job Description
As a Care Assistant, you will engage in daily activities that involve preparing patients for procedures, assisting nurses, and ensuring patient comfort. You will work closely with the healthcare team to maintain hygiene standards and manage equipment effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care to patients
- Notify nursing leaders of care quality issues
- Prepare and inspect medical equipment for procedures
- Assist in patient transportation and positioning
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the unit
- Support trained staff in various nursing tasks
- Record daily charges for items used in patient care
- Attend service meetings to discuss care quality and improvements
