Job Description
As a Care Assistant in Ward 7A, you will engage in daily activities that ensure the well-being of patients while collaborating with trained nursing staff. Your role will involve a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing patient care and maintaining a clean and safe ward environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care to patients
- Notify nursing leaders of any care quality issues
- Conduct regular nursing rounds to monitor patient conditions
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Maintain cleanliness of the ward and medical equipment
- Support trained staff in various nursing tasks
- Record daily charges and maintain accurate patient records
- Attend service meetings to discuss care improvements
Job Requirements
Diploma in Nursing or related field
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
Strong communication skills in English
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
