Job Description
The Carpenter's day-to-day work involves hands-on construction and repair tasks in a dynamic hotel environment. This position requires a commitment to quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and install walls and partitions, including drywall and millwork.
- Repair and construct wood structures as needed.
- Perform rough-in framing for doors, windows, and cabinetry.
- Handle minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats and changing light bulbs.
- Order materials and manage inventory for carpentry projects.
- Follow safety and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Provide courteous service to guests and colleagues.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
At least 2 years of related work experience.
Strong interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Ability to follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
