
The Chef De Partie / Demi Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in accordance with standard recipes and quality expectations. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining high food quality and presentation standards while ensuring a well-organized kitchen environment.
As a Chef De Partie / Demi Chef, you will engage in the daily operations of the kitchen, focusing on the preparation and presentation of dishes. You will work closely with senior chefs and junior team members to create a positive and efficient kitchen atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes. - Present dishes in an appealing manner to meet quality expectations. - Organize and replenish mise en place throughout service. - Monitor stock levels and manage inventory effectively. - Enforce FIFO practices to minimize food waste. - Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations. - Collaborate with senior chefs on menu planning. - Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
Proven experience in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
