Job Description

In this role, the Chef de Partie - Pastry will engage in daily food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes meet the established recipes and quality standards. The position requires effective communication and teamwork, especially during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food according to set recipes and quality standards.
  • Regulate oven and grill temperatures to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
  • Maintain food logs and monitor food quality and quantity.
  • Communicate needs and coordinate with team members during busy periods.
  • Ensure proper food portioning, arrangement, and garnish for presentation.
  • Assist management in various employee-related activities.
  • Follow company safety and security policies to maintain a safe work environment.

Job Requirements

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree is preferred.

At least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.

Strong communication skills and ability to support team goals.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Adherence to quality expectations and standards.
