Job Description
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the University’s Executive Leadership Team, overseeing the financial operations and strategic direction of the institution. The CFO collaborates closely with the Vice-Chancellor and the Group CFO to ensure efficient resource allocation and institutional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide financial leadership to enable sound decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee capital planning and financial reporting initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with financial principles and regulatory requirements.
- Translate strategic initiatives into actionable financial plans.
- Conduct financial modeling and forecasting to support decision-making.
- Communicate financial insights to diverse stakeholders effectively.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
Significant experience in senior leadership roles, ideally in higher education or complex multi-entity organizations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
