Job Description

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a key member of the University’s Executive Leadership Team, responsible for the strategic direction, financial stewardship, and sustainability of Taylor’s University and Taylor’s College. Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor and functionally aligned with the Group CFO of Taylor’s Education Group, the CFO provides financial leadership to enable sound decision-making, efficient resource allocation, and long-term institutional growth.

Job Requirements

Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.

Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.

Significant experience in senior leadership roles, ideally in higher education or complex multi-entity organizations.

Expertise in strategic financial management, capital planning, reporting, and transformation initiatives.

Comprehensive knowledge of the services or regulated industries, financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.

Experience in translating strategic initiatives into actionable financial plans.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and derive actionable insights.

Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.

High ethical standards, integrity, and commitment to institutional values and professional conduct.

Ability to navigate ethical challenges and make principled decisions in complex situations.
