
The Commis 1 is responsible for preparing special meals and ensuring the quality of food served. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining high culinary standards and supporting the kitchen team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
In the Commis 1 position, you will engage in daily food preparation tasks while working closely with the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will be responsible for managing cooking equipment and ensuring that all food is prepared according to established recipes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Education at the technical, trade, or vocational school level.
At least 3 years of related work experience.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
