Job Description

The Commis I (Interactive) is responsible for preparing special meals or substitute items in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and presentation requirements. This role involves regulating cooking temperatures, thawing food properly, ensuring proper portioning and garnishing, maintaining food logs, monitoring food quality and quantity, and communicating with the Chef and service staff regarding menu items and specials. The position also includes assisting in food preparation, supporting management in various personnel activities, and adhering to safety, security, and company policies.

Job Requirements

Education level equivalent to Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.

At least 3 years of related work experience in food preparation or a similar role.

No supervisory experience is required.

Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.

Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, lifting, and carrying objects up to 25 pounds.

Willingness to follow company policies, safety procedures, and maintain cleanliness and professionalism.

Strong teamwork skills and ability to develop positive working relationships.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting company assets.

Ability to anticipate and address guests' service needs.
