Job Description

The Commis I - Kitchen Pantai Grill position involves preparing special meals and substitute items, regulating the temperature of cooking equipment, and ensuring food is properly thawed, portioned, arranged, and garnished. The role includes maintaining food logs, monitoring food quality and quantity, assisting during busy periods, and communicating with the Chef and Food & Beverage staff regarding menu specials and availability. It also involves preparing food according to recipes and quality standards, assisting in management tasks such as hiring and training, following safety policies, maintaining personal and uniform appearance, and fostering positive working relationships within the team.

Job Requirements

Education in Technical, Trade, or Vocational School is preferred.

At least 3 years of related work experience is required.

No supervisory experience is necessary.

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.

Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Strong communication skills with clear and professional language.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Willingness to follow all company and safety policies and complete safety training and certifications.

Ability to work as part of a team and support team goals.
