The Commis III is responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. The role involves washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality standards, and operating various kitchen appliances. The Commis III ensures food quality, sets up and breaks down the work station, serves food in proper portions, and maintains cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen environment. This position requires adherence to company policies, professionalism, teamwork, and the ability to perform physical tasks associated with food preparation.
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
No supervisory experience is required.
Ability to prepare, cook, and handle food following quality and safety standards.
Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts.
Physical ability to bend, twist, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Willingness to follow all company and safety policies and procedures.
